ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005
ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 is a worldwide standard that promotes the adoption of an integrated process approach to deliver managed services to meet business and customer requirements. Our ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 registration certifies that we have successfully implemented our service management processes, while providing for ongoing control, greater efficiency, and opportunities for continual improvement. Vangent's effective service management, recognized by this standard, delivers high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction.

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3
CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. Compliance with CMMI helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.

Vangent's Government Group has earned the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Level 3 rating. This rating assesses management and engineering best practices and business objectives and provides a framework for continuous improvement in management, product development, and service delivery.

Vangent first received the CMMI Level 3 rating in March 2007 following a comprehensive Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), and was reappraised and found to be at Maturity Level 3 as defined by the CMMI® for Development v1.2 in April 2010.
